A North Italian kingwood, mahogany and marquetry commode, the rectangular banded top with central roundel of playing cards and musical instrument within marquetry border above a frieze drawer with beaded swags, figural roundels and baskets of flowers with two further drawers below inlaid sans traverse with a figure playing music flanked by foliate composition inlaid uprights, on square tapering legs, late 18th Century, Lombardy -- 47¼in. (120cm.) wide, 22in. (56cm.) deep, 35in. (89cm.) high.
