LITHOGRAPHED VALENTINES
Two hand-coloured lithographs with printed verses, one depicting a young lady standing by a portrait of a young man displayed on an easel, the verse reads 'Behold this portrait, evidently meant/Features like thine, Dear Youth to represent/Such my belief when first it caught my view/And thus impressed, I offer it to you/And as accompanied with these few lines/Fondly present it on Saint Valentine's', 10 x 8in., c. 1840-50.
