A finely engineered and well presented single vertical cylinder reversing marine engine built up from Stuart castings by T.R. Little. Measurements overall -- 11 x 13¼ (28 x 33.3cm).
With blued steel clad cylinder 1½ inch bore x 1¼ inch stroke, drain cocks and pipework, inlet and exhaust pipes and main stop valve, displacement lubricator, trunk type crosshead guide, locking lever and quadrant operated Stephensons link reverse, eccentric driven feed pump non-return valves and pipes, disc flywheel, shaft coupling and thrust bearing. Finished in green, black, red and polished brightwork and mounted on channel section frame. Wood base and perspex cover.
