A North German mahogany cylinder bureau bookcase, with gadrooned moulded cornice above a pair of glazed doors with beaded border, flanked by reeded column uprights with stiff leaf headings above tambour fall enclosing fitted interior with leather-lined slide, flanked by ribbon-tied laurel leaf uprights, above three drawers flanked by similar reeded uprights on waved apron and block feet, second quarter 19th century - 43¼in. (110cm.) wide, 21in. (61cm.) deep, 88in. (223.5cm.) high.
