A rigged wooden model of the frigate 'Berlin' of circa 1675 with bound masts, yards, standing and running rigging and full suit of stitched linen sails and deck details including figurehead, hair rails, anchors, catheads, belaying rails and pins, deck-rails, companionways, main deck guns in carriages, clinker built ship's boat and other details. The planked hull is finished in white to the waterline, natural wood and gilded stern decoration and white sails. Built by R. Owen - 21 x 26ins (53.3 x 66cms). Mounted on two turned wood columns, display base.
