A well detailed 5in gauge model of the Great Western Railway 57XX class 0-6-0 pannier tank locomotive No 8757 built by R Richards -- 13½ x 33¼in (34.2 x 84.5cm)
With braized superheated copper boiler with fittings including water and pressure gauges, safety, blower, whistle, twin injector, clack and blowdown valves. Chassis details include twin inside cylinders with Stephenson's link reverse, hydrostatic lubricator, cab controlled drain cocks, crosshead driven feed pump and by-pass, two injectors, double acting hand feed pump, hand operated brake gear, rivetting tank filler caps, vents and lifting eyes, sanding boxes and pipes, shunters pole rack, firing irons', bucket, steps, hand and lamp irons' and lamps. Finished in GWR livery. Boiler certificate valid to 14.12.1992 (See illustration)
