A pair of tapering oviform vases with slightly flared necks and ribs around the shoulder, painted and gilt with shaped panels of warriors on riverbanks, birds among flowering shrubs and ladies and children at leisure beside huts on the banks of a river before a mountain, on a ground of geometric pattern, a band of mon and brocade patterns to the necks (chips to rims) -- 18in. high.
