An early Victorian gilt-metal-mounted ebonised and tulipwood-banded bonheur du jour, the raised superstructure with three-quarter pierced brass gallery and three drawers above hinged downswept fall enclosing fitted interior and centred by pierced foliate scroll mount, with three frieze drawers and waved apron on cabriole legs with gilt clasps and gilt sabot -- 34in. (86.5cm.) wide, 23½in.960cm.) deep, 45in. (114cm.) high.
