Lot Essay
This tea service is reputed to have been used at a Eucharistic Congress held in Ireland in 1922. However the printed mark points to an earlier date for it's manufacture.

A Belleek porcelain part tea service printed and painted with the the cross of the order Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem and another Order within deep pink-ground borders and gilt-line rims, comprising: seven tea cups; ten saucers; nine side-plates; two sugar-basins; two bread-plates; two cream-jugs and a pottery moustache-cup, First Period, black printed marks (32)
