An English creamware oval teapot and flattened cover with flower finial, the entwined handle terminating in leaves and flowers, the fluted spout moulded with a stiff leaf band, painted in red and black with hearts joined by a ribbon above the motto Love Unites Us, the reverse with the inscription When this you see Remember me tho many miles we distant be, between rope-twist bands (repaired crack to cover, minor chips and cracks), circa 1765, possibly Derbyshire -- 5in. high
