A Syro-Hittite pottery figure of a standing female idol, with plank-like body flaring at feet, arms held to her breasts, the bird-like head with applied roundel eyes, wearing elaborate hairstyle with a protruding rectangular chignon at the back, and a series of applied necklaces, repaired and restored -- 11½in. (29.2cm.) high, 2200-2000 B.C.
