An Italian walnut and banded bureau, decorated overall with inlaid rectangular panels, the rectangular top above a hinged slope enclosing an interior fitted with four short drawers, pigeon holes and a well, above three long drawers on later bracket feet, the sides inlaid a quatre face and with an oval, restorations, losses to veneers, lacking escutheons, the handles later, mid 18th century -- 41½in. (105cm.) wide, 23in. (58cm.) deep, 44in. (112cm.) high.
