A late 18th/early 19th century oak eight day longcase clock, the hood with broken arched pediment and column uprights flanking a square brass dial with silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring, signed Joseph Ratcliff, the matted centre with subsiduary seconds ring within female mask spandrels, the door to the trunk with patera inlay on a plain plinth with bracket feet, with two weights and a pendulum -- 81in. (205.7cm.) high.
