A 19th century mahogany eight day longcase clock, the hood with swan-neck pediment flanked by column uprights, the arched brass
dial with Roman chapter ring and foliate engraved centre, within scallop spandrels, signed John Baxter, the trunk with blind fret frieze above an arched door flanked by fluted pilasters, on a panelled plinth and bracket feet, with two weights and a pendulum -- 80in. (203.2cm.) high.
