A Lambert Bébé Jeu de Grace automaton
with Jumeau bisque head and hands, closed mouth, fixed blue paperweight eyes and pierced ears, holding a pair of wooden batons, the going-barrel movement in the base playing one air and causing the figure to turn her head and flick the batons simultaneously as the hoop rises on a wire, in pink satin dress with pleated front panel - 17½in. (45cm.) high, stamped in red Dépose Téte Jumeau, Bte S.G.D.G. 4, (replacement costume and wig, minor wig pulls to forehead)
