Blue interlaced L's enclosing date letter ii for 1786, painter's mark for Noël
Alternately painted in the neo-classic style with pink roses and en grisaille with two-handled covered vases on a blue ground reserved within gilt lines on the lavender ground further gilt with foliate scrolls, this wide band between concentric narrower bands of blue gilt with Vitruvian scrolls and a slightly wider bands painted in shades of blue and pink and enriched in gilt with a rinceau in the style of Salembier
