A French mahogany, satinwood-banded and gilt-metal-mounted bureau plat, after the model by Montigny, the top inset with a panel of tooled leather, the Greek key banded frieze fitted with two drawers on square tapering legs terminating in sabots, the drawers stamped R. Lasser, Decoration, 28, Grnd, Geneve -- 55in. (140cm.) wide, 28in. (71cm.) deep, 30in. (76cm.) high.
