A German rosewood and gilt-metal-mounted secretaire cabinet, with trailing floral and scroll decoration, the upper part with a figure mask cresting and acorn finials, and enclosed by a pair of doors with recessed walnut panels inlaid with marquetry figures of a trumpeting hunter and dancing maiden, the lower part with a fall enclosing a fitted interior and containing three long drawers below, the shaped apron on bracket feet, mid 19th century -- 38in.(98cm.) wide,21in.(54cm.) deep, 78in.(198cm.) high.
