A walnut bureau-on-stand, the sloping fall supported on hinged gate-leg front supports and enclosing a fitted interior with drawers, pigeon holes and well with cover, on ring and bobbin-turned supports joined by stretchers and terminating in bun feet, the upper part early 18th century, the stand of a later date -- 33½in. (85cm.) wide, 19in. (49cm.) deep, 36½in. (93cm.) high.
