A Spanish gilt chalice bowl applied with strapwork, cherubs' masks and cut clear pastes and with a moulded body band, the lower half of the bowl engraved with stylised scrolling foliage, now attached to a George III gilt foot decorated with laurel leaf and berry friezes, the bowl probably 17th Century, the foot Andrew Fogelberg, London 1789 - 6½in. overall, 21oz.
