of Sherratt-type, typically modelled with Abraham raising a dagger above his son, tied above an altar, a sheep at his feet, before a flowering bocage, supported by a shaped hollow base moulded with scrolls and leaves, the altar inscribed GENESIS CHAP 22 ABRAHAM OFFERI/NG UP ISAAC, enriched in colours -- 10¾in. (27.3cm.) high, circa 1820 (damages and restoration)
