A softwood ship's tansu and a silver frame
19th Century
The rectangular small ship's cabinet with a front hinged door opening to two wide drawers above four smaller ones, mounted with iron kanagu and handle at the top, old wear; and a silver frame worked in repoussé with large chrysanthemum blooms within raised bamboo borders, 33 x 27.5 cm.
