Edo Period (18th Century)
Painted in underglaze blue with a central ju character, surrounded in coloured enamels and gilt on the everted sides with large chrysanthemum blooms under a straight rim, encircled with green ground dotted cartouches reserved on an iron-red ground enriched with stylised lotus, the base with a four character Fu Ki Cho Shun mark, rim cracks
25.6 cm. diam.
