An Arita blue and white lobed dish
Edo Period (Circa 1670)
Decorated with a central roundel enclosing a shaped panel with two herons in flight above a rock breaking foaming waves on a washed blue swastika and keyfret pattern ground, the everted lobed brown-edged sides encircled by a geometric border, the base with a Fuku mark within a double square, rim restoration and cracks
21.7 cm. diam.
