World Cup Qualifying match v. Israel, played on 25th February 1981, Scotland winning 1-0. World Cup Qualifying match v. Northern Ireland, played on 25th March 1981, Scotland and Northern Ireland drawing 1-1. World Cup Qualifying match v. Israel, played on 28th April 1981, Scotland winning 3-1. Home Championship match v. Wales, played on 16th May 1981, Scotland losing 0-2. Home Championship match v. Northern Ireland, played on 19th May 1981, Scotland winning 2-0. Home Championship match v. England, 23rd May 1981, Scotland winning 1-0.
The above Scotland International cap was awarded to Frank Gray who made a total of 32 appearances for Scotland at full International level. Gray joined Leeds United as an apprentice in 1970 from Glasgow Schools and turned professional in November 1971. In 1973 he was part of the Elland Road side which lost the European Cup-Winner's cup and suffered the same fate in the European Cup final of 1975. He joined Nottingham Forest in July 1979 and finally became a European winner, when Forest won the European Cup in 1980. He was transferred back to Leeds United in May 1981 and joined Sunderland in 1985.
