A Dingyao miniature ewer, a moulded dish and a Qingbai bowl
Song Dynasty
The melon-shaped Dingyao ewer incised with a triple-line border around the shoulder interrupted by a short straight spout and strap handle, all below a flaring rim, minute rim chips, 7 cm. high; a dingyao dish, moulded to the interior with a phoenix, below a chrysanthemum-petal and fretwork-pattern border on the shallow rounded sides rising towards the unglazed copper-mounted rim, the flat base glazed, 13 cm. high; and a Qingbai bowl, the steep rounded sides raised on a cylindrical foot, crisply moulded to the interior with ribboned flower sprays and a keyfret border below the unglazed rim, 11.2 cm. diam. (3)
