The inward curving rim with three knucklebone handles, pierced longitudinally, the body friezes including a lion leaping towards a grazing ibex and a bird with outspread wings, double row of dots around the rim, rays above the foot, details incised, one handle chipped, repaired, 5¾ in. (14.6 cm.) diam. excl. handles; an Etruscan bucchero ware kantharos with high twin handles, late 7th/early 6th Century B.C., 5 in. (12.7 cm.) high; and a group of Greek and South Italian vessels comprising a Greek black glazed kantharos with twin high looped strap handles, the base with concentric black circles, 5 3/8 in. (13.7 cm.) high; another footed kantharos with twin handles, 3 in. (7.6 cm.) high; a black glazed kantharos decorated with a laurel wreath, 3 3/8 in. (8.5 cm.) high; a black-figure stemmed kylix, the exterior decorated with plants, twin loop handles, 6¼ in. (15.8 cm.) diam., all circa 5th Century B.C.; a South Italian plainware askos, rim repaired, 5 1/8 in. (13 cm.) high; a jug with spherical body, the wide everted rim with black dotted rosettes and a palmette, wavy line and bands around the body, rim repaired, 5¾ in. (14.5 cm.) high; and a black glazed footed bowl, the tondo with stamped central rosette surrounded by palmettes, palmette chain and rouletting, metallic sheen, 7¼ in.
