A CYPRIOT PROTO-WHITE SLIP WARE 'MILK' BOWL
LATE BRONZE AGE, 1650-1200 B.C.
With round base and wishbone handle, with plain brown painted decoration of wavy line around rim and three groups of suspended twin vertical wavy lines flanked by circles, 7 1/8 in. (18.1 cm.) diam.; another similar with cross-hatched band below rim and three groups of vertical lozenge and circle motif, eight sets of four vertical lines inside the rim, 6½ in. (16.5 cm.) diam.; and a similar White Slip Ware 'milk' bowl with line and filled lozenge decoration, 7¼ in. (18.6 cm.) diam., both Late Bronze Age, 1650-1200 B.C. (3)
