Of elliptical form, with small troughed lobed spout, a pierced lug handle on the opposite side, black painted exterior, the interior with crossed composite bands in the centre, a similar band around the rim, repaired, 13½ in. (34.2 cm.) diam. max.; a similar ware footed jug, the large spherical body with cutaway-beak spout, on four stumpy feet, small loop handle, and eight diminutive pierced lugs around the neck and body, decorated overall with brown painted cross-hatched bands and triangles, stripes around the neck and handle, with slight restoration, Middle Bronze Age, circa 1900-1800 B.C., 8 in. (20.2 cm.) high; and a 'tankard' jug, similar ware, the rounded body with broad cylindrical neck and narrow everted rim, the vertical handle with thumb-rest spur at join with rim, pierced lug handle at base of neck, with brown painted decoration including two registers of cross-hatched triangles connected by wavy lines, a chequered band around the neck with encircling lines, a wavy line down the handle, with restoration, Middle Bronze Age, circa 1725-1650 B.C., 8¾ in. (22.3 cm.) high (3)
