EARLY BRONZE AGE, 2300-1900 B.C.
The stylized figure with antlers, pierced facial details and prominent 'adam's apple', stippled hair indicated over its back, on stem foot, mounted, 3¾ in. (9.5 cm.) high; another similar, smaller, 2¼ in. (5.7 cm.) high, both detached from large vessels; a White Painted Ware stag's head, the expressive head with tall antlers, the antlers each with split terminal and lower frontal projection, with pierced eyes and nostrils, black painted linear decoration, one antler repaired, mounted, Middle Bronze Age, 1900-1650 B.C., 2 1/8 in. (5.3 cm.) high; an Incised Red Polished Ware figure of a bird, with curved outspread wings, with neck bent down and short tail, with incised feather decoration, on stem foot; and another similar, with flattened lentoid body, mounted, both detached from large vessels, with repair, Early Bronze Age, 2300-1900 B.C., 3¼ in. (8.2 cm.) long av. (5)
