3 parts in one, 4o (222 x 145 mm). Two section titles for Espositioni et Introdottioni Universali di Ieronimo Ruscelli and Discorso Universale di M. Gioseppe Moleto. Engraved vignettes in text and 64 double-page engraved maps, ornamental intials (some occasional pale spotting, a few leaves closely trimmed). (Title with library blindstamp.) Later mottled calf (worn).

Second edition of Ruscelli's Ptolemy, being a reissue of the his first of 1561. The 64 maps are the same as those in this preceding edition and in the Latin edition of 1562, and are similarly found with irregular numbering. The important series of maps are enlarged copies of Gastaldi's maps in the edition of 1548, escept Universale novo, which was drawn on a new projection and called Orbis descriptio.
