The armour carved in the round decorated in black, gold and silver russet iron ishime and red lacquer with hiramaki-e and nashiji, the armour box, upon which it is displayed, the Somada-style decoration with silver and aogai kirikane and e-nashiji, nashiji interior, fundame rims, with a boxwood ojime in the form of an abumi [stirrup] with an inlaid raden mon and a rare netsuke in the form of a kawari kabuto with its shikoro in stained ivory, an oni mask maedate, signed Ryuzan
