An ivory veneered casket, second half 19th century
in the manner of the Embriachi workshops, carved in low relief overall with saints set within continuous arcading pilaster tiers, the cover with winged mask mounts to the lock, the underside inlaid with a diagonal chequer-board motif,the interior lined -- 10¼in. (26cm.) wide; 8in. (20.3cm.) high
