ROBERT PECOTA WINERY
In 1978 Robert Pecota left a career in San Francisco as a coffee roaster and tea packer to found his winery. He chose a plot at the foot of Mt. St. Helena in Napa Valley to produce Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Muscat Canelli and smaller amounts of Sauvignon Blanc. Each of the principal varietals is dedicated to one of Pecota's children, Kara, Steven and Andrea, and with each vintage, the labels are changed to showcase the works of different artists.
