A bannock rack with triple hoops by Patrick Robertson, Edinburgh, 1773 is in the collection of the National Museum of Scotland.

There is still some debate whether Peter Lambert of Aberdeen, 1804-1813, sent work to be assayed in Montrose, as the same maker's mark is recorded, with Montrose town marks, at a slightly later date.
