the finial modelled as a recumbent fox before game on a bed of ferns and grasses, the dish moulded with game, horns, powder flasks and quivers of arrows, suspended from loops upon a turquoise-ground within rope moulded rims, painted pattern 2262/30, impressed monogram and crescent mark, circa 1872 (some overpainted chips and damages) -- 28.5cm. wide
