A GREEK POTTERY FIGURAL VASE
Canosan, Circa Early 3rd Century B.C.
In the form of a female head, with an oval face, dimpled chin, and large fleshy lips, her center-parted hair beneath a radiate diadem and a saccos painted with a net pattern, surmounted by a standing draped figure serving as a vessel neck, tightly wrapped in a mantle with a pink border, wearing disk earrings and a radiate diadem, petals around the vessel neck above, the back of her neck joining to a long strap handle, with extensive pigment preserved throughout
