Elegantly carved, the thin-walled bowl flaring slightly to the rim, on a grooved ring foot, the handles designed to be held with thumb, fore-finger and middle-finger, with a ring for the fore-finger framed by the thumb-rest above and finger-rest below, the thumb-rest flush with the rim of the bowl
