The silvered dial signed DOBBIE MCINNES LTD GLASGOW, LIVERPOOL & SOUTH SHIELDS MAKERS TO THE ADMIRALTY, Roman hour numerals, with Arabic five minute intermarkers 60-5-10 et seque, gold hour and minute hands, inscribed within the subsidiary seconds dial numbered 1/4002 and the cypher T.M, and up-and-down dial both with blued steel hands, Earnshaw escapement, cut bimetallic balance with cylindrical heat compensation weights, polished steel helical balance spring, spring foot detent with jewelled locking stone, brass bowl and gimbal in later rosewood three-tier box, the centre section with (unsigned) bone disc, external drop handles; case, dial and movement associated
