The silvered dial signed Breguet et Fils No. 5002 in the centre of the dial with the combined hours and minutes dial above with Roman hour numerals and Arabic ten minute intermarkers 60-10-20 et seque, below centre (at VI) the subsidiary seconds dial with delicate blued steel hand, the single barrel movement wound through the bottom of the bowl with brass shutter, Earnshaw-type escapement with inverted cut bimetallic balance with peripheral screws and inner mid temperature error screws, blued steel helical balance spring without terminal curves, Breguet format spring detent with jewelled locking stone and adjustable blade clamped to the banking block, the re-spotted plates numbered 5002 on the top plate, brass bowl and brass chamfered oval gimbal ring, two-tier mahogany box with external brass drop handles and sliding top inset with a lozenge-shaped brass plaque engraved No. 5002; double-throw lock
