The arched case in the manner of Thomas Cole, with loop terminal and engraved densely with foliate scrolls, with silvered rear plate and strut, the gilt movement cover signed Moulinié & Legrandroy GENÈVE No.29591, with bevelled front glass to the arched silvered dial engraved with trailing leaves against a lined ground, the plain Roman chapter ring with black painted numerals, with conforming engraving to the centre and blued steel fleur-de-lys hands, with arched manually adjusted day of week aperture below above an engraved date grid, the pocket watch type movement with vertically positioned lever escapement with cut bimetallic balance; with original black leather travel case, hinged to the lower edge and folding to form a desk stand, with gilt signature to the inside
