The case surmounted by the seated figure of a Roman warrior (formerly with spear), flanked by flaming urn finials, with two ebonised wood columns to each side, the stepped breakfront base with foliate cast apron, the ebonised wood dial with skeletonised Roman dial with engraved outside Arabic minutes, steel hands, the twin barrel movement with strike on bell -- 35½in. (90cm.) high
