Arabic manuscript on gold-sprinkled paper, 12ll. of black naskh, gold rosettes between verses, gold margins between black rules, blue outer rule, later (probably 18th century) margins with divisions of text marked marginally with blue and gold medallions, gold ruled outer margin, finely illuminated opening bifolio in gold and colours, following bifolio with illuminated heading and gold clouds between the lines of text, colophon in gold signed by Ahmad al-Neirizi known as Haji Sultan Muhammad al-Isfahani and dated AH 1105, 19th century maroon lacquer binding painted with floral sprays in gold and black meandering vine border, red lacquer doublures, in green velvet slip case - 29 x 19cm.
