Ten pairs of pink satin ballet shoes, all by Freed, London, each sole stamped with manufacturer's details and size 4, all with various inscriptions to the sole including ten marked Fonteyn in red or black ballpoint pen in an unidentified hand [some faint], majority initialled in black, probably by Fonteyn, either L or R to denote left or right foot (majority well worn); with a black and white still, 1940s, of Fonteyn holding a pair of ballet shoes -- 10x8¼in.
