2 volumes bound in one, 8°, 119 hand-coloured engraved plates by James Sowerby only (of 120, lacking plate 20), some folding (vol. II lacking one text leaf, plate 44 trimmed affecting image, a few tears without loss, some light spotting and browning), contemporary calf-backed marbled boards (lightly rubbed and scuffed). Provenance: unidentified armorial bookplate; Lloyd Kenyon (modern library label).
