A late 19th-Century brass and ferrous metal model twin cylinder horizontal mill engine
with unlagged cylinders 1 1/8in. bore x 1¾in. stroke, cylinder head draincocks and cylinder lubricators, centrally mounted, inward facing valve chests with common inlet manifold, centrally mounted steam chests with separate steamways, pedestal mounted webbed bar type crosshead guides, drip trays, barrelled connecting rods with marine type big ends, eccentric driven feed pump (piston missing), rope driven Watt type governor (linkage missing), four main bearings and centrally mounted spoked flywheel, finished in green and polished brightwork, cast bed and wood base -- 11 x 20in. (28 x 50.8cm.)
