A late 19th-Century single cylinder horizontal mill engine,
with metal lagged cylinder 1¼in. bore x 2in. stroke, displacement lubricator, draincocks, pedestal mounted crosshead slide bars, barrelled connecting rod, spoked flywheel and multi-v belt pulley, finished in green and mounted on a cast bed with brass maker's plate, unsigned --8¾ x 15¼in. (22.2 x 38.8cm.). Wood base.
