One volume bound in 2, royal 2o (402 x 281 mm). Collation: [1-810 9-108 11-2310 24-258 26-3810 3912 40-4810 498]. 481 leaves (of 482; without blank 49/2). 48 lines, double column. Gothic type 2:115. Three 6-line initial openings with later (18th-century Italian?) illumination, other 2- to 6-line initial spaces. (Occasional marginal staining, few marginal tears, some with old repairs, some tiny holes to last few leaves affecting a few letters.) 18th-century Italian red morocco-backed sheep over paste boards, each spine with three dark green morocco labels (some abrasions to sides and edges, volume number on spines reversed). Provenance: 16th-century monastic ownership inscription (on blank verso of colophon) -- James William Ellsworth (late 19th-century bookplate) -- Estelle Doheny (morocco bookplate) -- donated to SMS 12 December 1946.
