Modern calf gilt, edges gilt, by Max Fonsèque. Provenance: marginalia in an early hand -- Estelle Doheny (morocco bookplate; purchased from Dawson's Bookshop, Los Angeles) -- donated to SMS 6 December 1937.

One of only a handful of works printed by Johannes Leoviler, who printed books for Franciscus Renner and, still using Renner types, for Franciscus de Madiis, as here.
