A Meissen group of four putti with a goat
Circa 1755, blue crossed swords mark
Representing 'Autumn' from a set of the Seasons, the putti scantily-draped with flowered robes and a garland of vine, one seated astride the goat, one eating grapes and supported by a tree-trunk, another seated beside a basket of grapes, on a scroll-moulded rockwork base applied with a baluster ewer, enriched with gilding and applied with coloured flowers (some minute chipping to extremities)
